Discovery Agent

Sometimes the deal-breaking insight lives on page 47 of a subcontract. Discovery runs behind every query, watching for the moments when traditional synthesis couldn't have retrieved everything, and closes the gap before you ever see it.

How it Works

Emerald's standard retrieval works well for most questions, but a 200-page document or subcontract or a load-bearing clause can sometimes fall outside what a single query pulls back. Discovery runs continuously alongside every question asked, using natural language processing and data architecture techniques to detect when a document is long enough, or a query specific enough, that a deep full-document scan is warranted. This agent triggers that scan automatically, before the gap becomes a missed answer or problem for a project manager. This is Emerald's highest level of synthesis, working in the background so no one has to know to ask for it.

Does the Riverside subcontract have any liquidated damages clauses?
Section 8 doesn't reference liquidated damages. Discovery flagged this as a 340-page document and ran a full scan, this is a comprehensive answer.

Any exclusions from the warranty period?
Yes. Art. 14 §14.3 excludes owner-supplied equipment from the 2-year warranty, a clause a standard query would likely have missed since it's referenced only once, outside the main warranty section.
